The farm is located in Werbkowice (Hrubieszów District, Lublin Voivodship). This is most easterly of the experimental farms. Werbkowice farm is situated on Lublin Uplands, with brown soils formed on loess, chernozems, and partly on alluvial soils and post-bog soils. The main activity of the farm is raising of dairy cattle. The herd consists of approx. 660 animals, including 360 dairy cows with average per-unit production capacity 9000 litres annually, based on standards of Polish Federation of Cattle Breeders and Cattle Farmers.
